What you will do

The Influencer Marketing Lead is is a high-impact role within the Consumer Demand Generation Team to elevate the relevance and salience of Kenvue brands. Key responsibilities include leadership to drive our influencer strategy, development, and execution; support the brand and Healthcare Professional Teams with strategy and analytics of our paid and unpaid initiatives; and driving innovation and best in class activations and ways of working to build brand love.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead local and influence global influencer and creator strategy for Kenvue Canada

  • Lead strategy and relationship with US and Global brand and networks

  • Partner and collaborate with Brand Leads to inform creator/influencer plans and budget

  • Support and shape Health Care Professional influencer talent-led strategy by collaborating with Health Care Professional teams

  • Provide one-to-one, strategic campaign planning and negotiate contracts with influencers & creators

  • Collaborate closely with agency partners to ensure strategic vision is being activated across megabrand and category campaign initiatives

  • Collaborate with paid media team (Digital Enabling) to ensure influencer earned and owned activations work hard across the marketing funnel

  • Keep a pulse on new and emerging trends and platforms—testing, learning, and experimenting in ways that feel authentic to the brand

  • Lead creator/influencer agency owners for tentpole activations leaning on their strengths and evaluating their performance

  • Oversee creator strategy for all tentpole activations across Spike brands (e.g. creator events, festival season, product launch events)

  • Shape strategy & activation plan that supports creator interactive events and brand content seeding opportunities

  • Collaborates with legal and HCC to ensure contracts, agencies, and deliverables are compliant

  • Establish playbooks and ways of working (paid and organic) that drive agility, speed to market, consistent brand experiences and compliance

  • Drives influencer contracting process for professional engagements

  • Monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of initiatives; make recommendations to optimize performance; communicate wins across the organization

  • Continually assess real-time performance of content using data, analytics, and insights to adapt, or eliminate content to deliver aligned success metrics, including return on investment and social engagement.

  • Manage 1 direct report fostering growth and development of team capabilities through Kenvues high performing team principles.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required, i.e. in an influencer marketing role developing and executing strategy and campaigns

  • Expertise and success sourcing, recruiting, onboarding, and negotiating with influencers

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing influencer campaigns

  • Measurement-minded with a strong understanding of the performance metrics widely used and available data-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and experience in tracking relevant metrics

  • Experience analyzing influencer-specific metrics

  • Proven track record / portfolio of ideating and delivering social campaigns that drive impactful results

  • Previous experience activating with HCP on social media and passion for the beauty industry, with knowledge and expertise in Skincare specifically is preferred

  • Working knowledge of and experience with major social media platforms is required (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok)

  • Self-starter with interpersonal, leadership, and teambuilding skills to form relationships and work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams, suppliers, and agencies.

  • Able to be a great leader, teammate and individual contributor, and willing/eager to work in a hands-on capacity with creative people

  • Exceptional writing, communication, presentation, and influence skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and present strategies, recommendations and results to team members and management.

  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to hone in on insights, including the ability to interpret social insights and data and translate it into actionable business results
