Responsibilities:

• Work cohesively with internal team members on a timely, professional manner
• Obtain thorough understanding of the work to be performed, how to perform it, and the purpose for it
• Develop technical skills both on the job and through continuing professional education
• Provide accounting and bookkeeping services for business clients, including payroll and payroll tax reporting
• Prepare individual, business, non-profit, and fiduciary tax returns
• Proactively build and maintain relationships, and communicate effectively with the clients
• Assist clients with accounting and tax questions as they arise, and provide superior client service

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or working towards degree
• Requires 0 - 5 years of job-related experience
• CPA certification or educational experience to obtain the Licensure preferred, but not required
• Proficient computer skills; including Microsoft Office programs and any accounting/tax programs
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Great project management skills, including organization, time management, and prioritization
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both in writing and verbally, with management, employees, and customers
