Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team. This role involves assembly, custom fabrication, and loading/unloading tasks. You will work with basic hand tools, glue, and tape measures to assemble cabinet doors, fabricate solid surfaces, and handle shipping and receiving duties. Candidates will likely be cross-trained in multiple departments.
Responsibilities
Assemble cabinet doors by attaching handles and hinges.
Glue sides of doors, clean, inspect, and ensure quality.
Utilize basic hand tools and tape measures for assembly tasks.
Install hardware on products.
Perform custom fabrication tasks such as fabricating solid surfaces, sanding, building desks, die walls, t-molding, and creating countertops.
Construct backsplashes, vanity sinks, coat racks, display cases, and other custom woodwork.
Load and unload semis, move pallets, and manage shipping and receiving tasks.
Essential Skills
1+ year of experience in labor, construction, assembly, or manufacturing.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Proficiency in reading tape measures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience in warehouse or production environments is a plus.
Familiarity with custom fabrication processes and woodworking.
Work Environment
The dress code includes jeans or shorts, T-shirts, and closed-toed shoes.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with optional hours on Fridays.
Candidates can work through lunch and leave at 4 pm if preferred.
You can listen to music while working, as long as you remain attentive when someone speaks to you.
