Washington County Common Pleas Court  is seeking a Bailiff to join our team in Marietta OH. 

Full time Mon-Fri 8 AM-4:30 PM

[Duties and Responsibilities: ]{.underline} - Responsible for the safety and security of the Judge, the Courtroom and jurors. - Make sure the Judge has the appropriate files and paperwork for each hearing. - Record, and maintain all courtroom digital recordings. - Maintain, update, and secure jurors for trials. - Create forms for criminal proceedings. - Maintain relationships with and make referrals to outside agencies.  - Maintain evidence.

[Candidates Must:]{.underline}

• Be organized and have attention to detail.
• Be able to type and use various computer programs.
• Be trainable and available for training, including 40hr OPOTA Firearms Training.
• Be able to communicate well with the public.
• Qualify to carry firearm.
• Have or get a Notary Commission. 
• Be Bondable.
• Have no criminal history and pass background check.
• High Graduate. 
• Valid Drivers License

Experience is helpful but not mandatory. There is a lot of clerical work with this position in addition to all other responsibilities.
