Lockheed Martin Project Management - Cost/Schedule (Level 3) in Marietta, Georgia

Description: The candidate selected for this position will serve as a Project Manager supporting two Avionics Engineering teams in Marietta, GA. The selected candidate will be responsible for project management tasks related to budget and schedule for all team labor and material control accounts. As part of the role, the selected candidate will be involved in Not To Exceed estimates, Firm Fixed Price proposals, Basis Of Estimate (BOEs) proposal development, tasks planning, budget spread and alignment, program baseline activities, EV status, variance explanations, and staffing support for the team. The candidate will be required to provide monthly status reports against both internal and supplier control accounts. Specific responsibilities associated with this position will include coordination with the Cost / Schedule Integrator and other applicable stakeholders to process baseline change requests (BCRs / BLCRs / Workflows), maintain the integrity of the control account budget baseline, establish and distribute cost segregation guidelines to track authorized tasks, analysis of affected control accounts, development of variance analysis, analysis/review/updates of Estimates at Complete (EACs/ETC). The position requires strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage all aspects of system/subsystem EVMS tasks, requiring collaboration with multiple teams as well as status reporting to leadership and program personnel. The candidate can potentially gain the experience/time required to obtain their PMI certification.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in

Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related

discipline

Experience with budget analysis, management, and reporting.

Desired Skills:

Experience in managing project performance

using Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

for Engineering development teams

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Knowledge of EVMS tools (i.e. Cobra, PM

Compass)

Formal training in EVMS (i.e. company sponsored

or industry certifications)

Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified a plus

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
