HD Supply Lead SAP EWM Analyst in Marietta, Georgia

Job Specific Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts to deliver high-quality support services for SAP Warehouse Management, specifically focusing on Inbound and Outbound processes.

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within SAP WM related to Inbound and Outbound functionalities, ensuring timely and effective solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify improvement opportunities within Inbound and Outbound processes.

  • Drive a customer-centric support mindset within the team, focusing on meeting and exceeding customer expectations in both Inbound and Outbound operations.

  • Continuously learn and stay updated with emerging technologies, leveraging this knowledge to provide innovative solutions and enhance system performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field.

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Warehouse Management with a strong focus on both Inbound and Outbound processes.

  • Proven track record in a technical lead or mentorship role within an SAP WM environment.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards success in warehouse management support.

  • Customer-centric mindset, dedication to continuous learning, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create system solutions that support organizational needs. Supports management in the design of processes and metrics for a functional area, leads and prioritizes activities for one or more workstreams, and provides training and guidance to junior analysts.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Partners with internal stakeholders to define business requirements, identify improvement opportunities, troubleshoot system issues, and develop applicable solutions.

  • Determines, develops, and communicates system enhancements and changes based on empirical analyses.

  • Manages and executes system enhancement testing with engineering and technology teams to ensure quality, fit to ask, performance, and security compliance.

  • Ensures software is successfully pushed into production environments and assists with the resolution of launch-related issues.

  • Communicates with leadership regarding the status and completion of business requirements, test cases, and test execution.

  • Maintains and analyzes a vendor analysis workbook to assist with the selection of new technology suppliers.

  • Develops and improves internal processes to refine technologies and create organizational efficiencies.

  • Leads and directs the work of junior analysts, including providing training, guidance, and feedback on projects and tasks.

  • Develops or engages/directs others in developing innovative solutions to important, highly complex strategic and operating problems; cross-departmental considerations are often present.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 8+ years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 5+ years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
