Lockheed Martin Inspection Associate Manager in Marietta, Georgia

Description: This position is responsible for Marietta Quality Shared Services Quality Operations, performance and Customer support. As the MQSS Inspection Associate Manager you will support all MQSS operations, to include Fabrication, Shipping, Receiving, Labs, Tooling and NDI inspection operations. Working independently, with specific oversight for product and process verification, process and procedural compliance, FOD prevention and to drive discipline and accountability within MQSS inspection processes as it relates to quality. Quality leadership interface for MQSS site operations to ensure consistent application and execution of contractual and standard quality processes. Directly oversee and management of quality control analysts, quality control technicians, quality engineers, supervisors, and represented quality inspectors. Monitor output of direct reports for quality an quantity of work. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee selection, training, work assignments, labor charging, budget oversight, recognition and disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications:

-Ability to validate accuracy and completeness of technical documentation and processes.

-Knowledge of aircraft inspection and verification techniques. Knowledge of quality systems and inspection processes.

-Aircraft manufacturing experience.

-Quality Assurance experience.

-Supervisory experience.

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of DIMS, QADS, and SFM systems. First Article Inspection, Fabrication, Tooling techniques and SAP.

-SFM and QADs experience.

-ETG and STARS experience.

-NDI, Shipping, Receiving quality experience.

-COA knowledge/experience

-knowledge of Hazardous Waste Management, Safety, Training, FOD and Tool control procedures, and Time Accounting.

- Strong work ethic.

- Strong computer skills.

- Strong reading comprehension skills including capability to interpret engineering specifications and test procedures

- Strong communication skills needed to support team-based work environment.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage in a fast paced environment with competing priorities.
