Seeking a dependable and reliable employee to fill immediate full-time opening for an Airset Molder in a cast iron foundry. Must be able to work from 5:00 am -- 3:30 pm with overtime when needed. *Company Description: *We are a cast iron foundry---we use tooling to make sand molds that we fill with liquid iron. The parts we make cover a wide variety of industries including power generation, material handling, and even replica parts for museums. The parts we make move the world and we believe our team represents the best of West Michigan's manufacturing. This position is for making molds that will be filled with iron. The molds are made with sand and a two part resin-catalyst chemical system.

*Starting Rate: *$16.00 or more with experience

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday-Thursday 5:00-3:30, overtime on Friday as needed

Job Duties:

Produce airset molds by hand as directed by supervisor and daily schedule. Molds may be produced using cope and drag patterns, matchplates, or loose patterns as dictated by customer tooling. Individual will also perform shake out (break down of the previous day's molds) at the start of each morning. Molders must have an eye for detail and ensure that molds will produce quality castings. Molders are required to read and review our computer database of molding instructions and part blueprints for each job.

Individual may also shift weights, help refill raw materials bins in the Melt department, and move molds or completed raw castings with a forklift as necessary. Individual is responsible for ensuring that their area is kept clean and organized every day. General labor as required. Will train as required.

Qualification Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience needed
• Molding experience a plus
• Forklift operation experience a plus
• Ability to follow instructions
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must have an eye for detail
• Must have dependable transportation
• High school diploma or GED necessary

Experience:

• General labor: 1 year (Preferred)
• General labor and molding skills: 1 year (Preferred)
