Our client, a fortune 500 company, is looking for a Lab Technician, for a 12+ month contract for a 100% onsite role in Maplewood MN. In this role you will perform physical and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.

Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: Maplewood MN (100% onsite)

Pay Range: $18 to $20 p/h depending upon experience

What’s the Job?

• Prepare materials and organize for product testing.

• Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research.

• Worker performs mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.

• Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results. Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team.

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma or higher

• Adaptability to team needs and working for many individuals in various groups.

• Good mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience and specific training in inspection procedures and/or the product line

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including statistics and data analysis

• Require attention to detail, understanding of experimental methods, and accurate record keeping.

• Able to move products and lift weights up to 20 lbs
