The ideal candidate will be adept at data analytics and working with complex financial models to support our Debt Capital Markets and Funding solutions. Here, you will make an impact by:Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze various debt instruments, share repurchase, and funding strategiesPrepare presentations and reports for senior management and external stakeholders on the company's capital market activities and strategies.Monitor and forecast the company's cash flow, debt levels, and interest rate exposuresSupport the management of the company's capital structure, including debt issuance and repurchase activitiesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify funding needs and develop appropriate capital market strategiesAnalyze market trends and provide insights on potential impacts to the company's funding and capital market activitiesEnsure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to treasury activities.Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements within the Treasury function.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.Two (2) years of experience in treasury, finance, or a business analytical role, with a focus on capital markets and funding in a private, public, government or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field;CFA or advanced degree is a plus.Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.Experience with debt capital markets, corporate finance, and funding strategies.Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow modeling, and risk management principles.Proficient in the use of financial systems and databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) and advanced Excel skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment.Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedWork location: Remote - USMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
