The Bass Lake location is small yet impactful clinic in the M Health Fairview system. The staff is multifaceted and sees everything as "our" work to accomplish all goals. We also make sure all are cross-trained, so while working in your scope, you will still be able to help; so if someone is out their absence is not felt as greatly. Responsibilities Job Description

As a member of the patients care team, a Medical Assistant supports quality patient- and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/support network. The Medical Assistant will collect information and detail the patient's visit. The MA is responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures and practice guidelines, promoting communication with all members of the team, maintaining complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.

Medical Assistants and Fairview deliver care as delegated by the patients Physicians, or RN. They are able to prioritize work based on need, available resources, patients preferences, provider schedule, and work in collaboration with the physician/authorized practitioner as well as other health care team members. You may also perform high, and low risk, technical procedures during your daily work which could include: medication administration, assistance with CPR, assistance with procedures which may include lab draws.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN

• Basic Life Support Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Ambulatory Care Experience

• AAMA Certification
