Job Title: Hydraulic Mechanic

1st shift - $28-$33/HR

Job Description

The Hydraulic Mechanic will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting hydraulic systems within industrial machinery, heavy equipment, and other applications. This role includes tasks such as diagnosing system failures, replacing faulty components like pumps, valves, and cylinders, performing preventative maintenance checks, reading blueprints and schematics, and ensuring proper fluid levels and system functionality. A strong understanding of mechanical principles and hydraulic technology is essential to identify and resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems in industrial machinery and heavy equipment.

• Diagnose system failures and replace faulty components including pumps, valves, and cylinders.

• Perform preventative maintenance checks on hydraulic systems.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Ensure proper fluid levels and system functionality.

• Identify and resolve complex mechanical and hydraulic issues.

Work Environment

Typical mechanic shop setting with the use of hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic equipment. The environment is hands-on and may involve working with heavy machinery and complex mechanical systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
