Then you may be an excellent candidate for an Analyst role within our Health Economics and Market Access team supporting Boston Scientific's Peripheral Interventions business.A fundamental priority for this position will be supporting the development and implementation of health policy and reimbursement initiatives, through collaboration with cross-functional colleagues and external stakeholders. This is a Remote position with a preference for candidates based in the Twin Cities, MN area. Out-of-state candidates will be also considered. Your responsibilities include: Primary owner and driver of PI HEMA analytics and analytics resources to address reimbursement, coding, and documentation inquiries from divisional sales force and key external stakeholders (e.g., hospitals, clinicians, investigator sites, professional societies) Utilize knowledge of available data assets (e.g., Medicare claims data, CMS payment information) to identify research opportunities and define/execute analyses in support of business unit objectives Monitor and assess health policy updates impacting the business' emerging technologies and commercially marketed products. Develop related communications to inform senior management Recommend, select, maintain, and update health economic and reimbursement resources for the PI business unit, including coding guides and reimbursement calculators Develop and promote analytical best practices within and across product franchises. Research and apply new techniques for advanced analyses, create, monitor, review, and improve methods and techniques continuously. Support new product development teams to ensure health economics and reimbursement needs are incorporated into product development plans and timelines. Provide appropriate in-service training to sales, marketing, clinical, regulatory, and legal to increase awareness and understanding of health economics and reimbursement competencies and their role in supporting a product's success. Collaborate with functional colleagues to inform strategic activities related to health economic research, health policy and business development. What we're looking for: Transferrable Skills: Analytical experience utilizing large data sets to draw conclusions about market size, targeting, opportunity assessment,with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Customer-facing experience (i.e., customer service, complaint handling, etc.) Ability to analyze and interpret payment, medical and coverage policies (i.e., government policy, etc.) Required Qualifications: Occasionaltravelrequired. Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education 3-5-years of experience in health care, preferably with experience working with new medical technologies in the medical device arena Mastery of platform tools and software applications, separately and in combination, such as IQVIA, Definitive, flat files and Medicare data files, XLS, Tableau,PowerBI,Domo, with ability to envision, create, translate, and routinely deliver integrateddata visualization toolsfor specific inquiries, KPIs, trends, dashboards, presentations, calculators,etc.for a variety of users. Technical expertise regarding relational database, data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques, and programming languages (SQL, Python, or R) Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, AWS, SPSS, SASetc.) Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems including health policy trends, payment systems (inpatient/outpatient/physician/ASC) and associated documentation/coding requirements.
