About the role: The Group Marketing Manager (GMM) for PCI Guidance (PCIG) Upstream Marketing is responsible for upstream global product marketing for Boston Scientific's PCIG portfolio to include Intravascular Ultrasound and Fractional Flow Reserve. This role will be charged with managing portfolio strategy, new product development and lifecycle management for the portfolio of hardware, software, and single use devices for this business group. The GMM, PCIG Upstream Marketing will have a team of direct reports and will influence cross-functional and regional partners throughout the organization to ensure portfolio success. Your responsibilities will include: Leads a high performing upstream product management team, responsible for the new product and clinical strategy for the PCI Guidance portfolio. Oversees strategic initiatives for the PCIG product portfolio. Portfolio responsibilities include market research, new technology evaluations, voice of customer, new product development, clinical strategy, competitive intelligence, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) engagement, and product lifecycle management. Champions continued innovation to drive procedural growth with PCIG value capture. Drives strategies and initiatives for leadership in the intravascular imaging market. Activities will include clinical evidence generation, internal development, external partnerships, and BD evaluations among other activities to expand imaging. Builds a wholistic go-forward strategy of the Fraction Flow Reserve market including technology roadmap, new product pipeline, competitive threat analysis and clinical requirements. Active engagement with key stakeholders. Establish relationships with KOLs, identify physician champions to support the portfolio, develop strong partnership with regional marketing teams and credibility with the selling organization. Attracts, develops and retains top product marketing talent within the PCIG Marketing team. Oversees budgeting for all upstream PCIG activities, including voice of customer, market research and KOL engagement activities. Influences across the matrix with leaders from the Global Regions, Research and Development, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Regulatory, Health Economics and Program Management to advance product strategies. Fosters a high-performance team culture; identifies opportunities to actively coach and develop talent, strengthen team expertise, seeks to empower individuals. Acts as thought-leader change agent by sharing knowledge and best practices with other business units and franchises. Champions a culture of patient centricity, innovation, collaboration, ethics, compliance, and inclusion.
