  • The Nestlé Cambria Park factory in Wiri are looking for an enthusiastic professional to develop and maintain competences and quality awareness in a factory.

  • As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be the guardian of food safety and compliance in the factory.

A day in the life…

Reporting to the Factory Manager, this is your opportunity, if you’re keen for a challenge that will provide you a chance to make an impact and get noticed. Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Drive Nestlé Continuous Excellence in the pursuit of zero defects, maintaining consumer trust and preference.

  • Develop and maintain competences and quality awareness among our factory employees, creating a culture of excellence.

  • Setup, manage, enforce, and maintain our Nestlé Quality Management System and Operating Quality Manual.

  • Oversee the factory laboratory, ensuring correct functioning, personnel safety, availability of equipment, and technician training.

  • Ensure adherence to good hygienic practices and supervise the factory pest management program.

  • Manage the internal auditing program, assessing the performance of our quality system and proposing actions for improvement.

  • Utilize your expertise in continuous improvement and root cause analysis to drive structured improvement efforts.

  • Lead the factory management review of quality and maintain full compliance of our products.

What will make you successful

  • Leading a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong leader with a drive to deliver quality outcomes.

  • Strong background in quality assurance and understanding of manufacturing processes.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.

  • University qualifications or equivalent, preferably in microbiology, chemistry, or food science.

  • Demonstrated capability to lead a group, such as being a group leader in a factory or a Quality Assurance specialist or Research & Development Centre.

  • Management exposure across several functions.

  • Experience in different factory or market positions, environments, and projects.

  • Proven track record of delivering results through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
