MOUSER ELECTRONICS INC IT Security Team Lead in MANSFIELD, Texas

Mouser Electronics, Inc. seeks an IT Security Team Lead in Mansfield, TX.

Duties: Implement security and risk programs to ensure operational efficiency and auditability. Understand business needs and intuitively recommend secure solutions. Review the design and architected solutions consisting of software applications, hardware integration and accurately defend design options, ideas, and innovative concepts, while providing a best practices approach. Lead and manage production support issues and provide timely feedback to management and supervisors. Communicate business strategy, requirements and business needs to peers and technical staff. Recommend clear solutions that blend business requirements, technical solutions, and process improvements. Translate technical information clearly and concisely to business stakeholders. Evaluate requests for new hardware or software, and determine merit and when necessary,

gather proper approvals before moving forward.

Consider all aspects of a project or request such as hardware design, hardware limitations, performance, business impact, and other system constraints by working with technical teams. Provide leadership to other technical staff, helping to improve their resolution times, productivity, and meeting goals. Lead the team to produce viable technical solutions for business needs. Play a key role in identifying breakthrough ideas and providing timely solutions. Lead and contribute to solution designs and implementation. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams/team members helping them build additional skills in this area. Proactively use good business judgment and communications to keep IS management and business liaisons informed regarding status, risks, obstacles, and other related information. May be required to proactively communicate with Business Executives, Stakeholders, and technical teams. Manage projects from start till end and provides guidance to staff and stake holders to set and meet deadlines. Lead the team as the technical expert in various areas and organize the efforts of the team. Develops and maintains a productive work teams by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance. Manages daily operations to meet department and company objectives.

Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT or related field (or its equivalent), plus 6 years of experience.

Requires 6 years of experience in at least 4 of the following key technologies: o Cloud Security o Firewalls o Intrusion detection systems o VPNs o Encryption o 2 Factor Authentication o AI and Machine Learning o Zero Trust Architecture o Behavior Biometrics o IOT Security o Coding o Networking and Systems Administration o Operating Systems o VMs

Requires 2 years of experience with written technical communication skills.

Telecommuting permitted.
