Summary:

Greentech Renewables Commercial Solutions is dedicated to supporting New England's leading commercial energy contractors. We supply product solutions for commercial solar installations, energy storage deployments, and electric vehicle charging stations.

Outside Sales is responsible for ensuring that Greentech secures and maintains dominant market share with our target customer base. Candidates should be intellectually driven, continuously strive for improvement, and possess integrity.

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience

  • Ability to travel and make sales calls at customer locations

  • Ability to comprehend, read, and communicate in English both orally and in writing

  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets CED required standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of solar and electrical products and their functions

  • Experience selling and designing commercial solar & ESS systems

  • Experience quoting and selling switchgear

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary based on the customer location and may include construction, warehouse, manufacturing, office, or external environments. Some activities may include walking, standing, climbing in various conditions including extreme heat or cold. Essential functions will require travel to customer locations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify and capture new opportunities within the territory, build a backlog of business

  • Identify and maintain a list of target accounts and their potential that the territory can profitably service

  • Identify and maintain relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders within target accounts

  • Develop an actionable and measurable territory growth plan

  • Maintain and leverage relationships with key vendors and suppliers

  • Collaborate with a team account managers, inside salespeople, subject matter experts, and project managers to maximize customer service and territory potential

  • Assist management in identifying training and hiring needs to support the territory

  • Develop relationships with key territory specifiers and leverage internal subject matter experts to position our products and services

  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of territory incentives, code changes, growth opportunities, and the competitive landscape

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $45000 to $150000 annually.
