Pay Rate :

$69,000 – 91,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Yellow belt certification; eventually a Green Belt certification

  • Utilize a data driven approach to identify cost and performance gaps for deliberate improvement opportunities

  • Involvement with Operating Departments to ensure manufacturing excellence principles are used for continuouse improvement as well as troubleshooting

  • ME Lead for Lean and Six Sigma DI projects

  • Facilitate FEL1 for Cost Reduction Capital and oversee implementation of savings

  • Coach and mentor new engineers

  • Leverage and promote Six Sigma software tools such as Braincube, Envoy, SIMCA, and Minitab

  • Participate in PRO Audits, vet larger projects; including CR capital

  • Participate in REACH recruiting as needed

  • Other tasks as assigned

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering

  • 1-2 years of engineering experience preferred

Key Competencies: Action Oriented, Functional Technical Skill/Knowledge, Customer Focus, Innovation Management, Organizational Skills, Planning, Problem Solving, Priority Setting, Informing, and Managing through Systems. Candidates should also have good oral and written communication skills, in addition to being skilled in group and one on one.
