Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

United Services is looking to hire full-time a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in our Primary Care program which is part of the Comprehensive Services Division. Comprehensive Services' goal is to help transform community behavioral health systems and provide comprehensive, coordinated behavioral health care and medical care. The focus is on integrating care throughout the behavioral and medical health system to benefit individuals meet their recovery goals. Comprehensive Services focuses on delivering person-centered care. Medical Assistant/Phlebotomists will provide high quality customer service and assist members of the primary care staff, clients and their families.

Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Salary: $18.14 - $20.52

Bilingual Spanish Fluency: $19.08 - $21.56

Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma plus 2 years appropriate office experience required.

Experience:

  • Successful completion of Phlebotomy program with 1 year of experience required.
  • Previous experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system required.
  • One or two years of experience in primary care setting preferred.
  • Two years of experience working in a medical office with similar volume preferred.

Certification:

  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • National Certification (NCCT or ASCP) or equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred.
