United Cerebral Associations of New York State, Inc. d/b/a Constructive Partnerships Unlimited is currently seeking a Incident Management Investigator to advocate for the rights of people receiving services in order to assist in their care, safety and well-being. Specific duties include:
Conducting investigations into situations that may violate rights and/or protection of people (e.g., allegations of abuse, mistreatment, neglect, and violation of civil or human rights)
Preparing reports for organizational personnel and outside agencies (OPWDD IMU, CAB,MHLS, Police Justice Center, etc.)
Presenting summary of investigative findings to the Incident Review Committee
Conducting training sessions in abuse identification, prevention and reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in conducting investigations
Training experience in investigative techniques in the identification, prevention and reporting of abuse
Must be able to travel throughout the five boroughs of NYC
