NYU Langone Health System Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Woodhull Medical Center in Manhattan, New York

Woodhull Medical Center, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine is currently seeking a Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, who will work closely with the Director of Adult Outpatient Services to enhance the clinical responsibilities and quality within the department. He/she will oversee, manage, and evaluate all aspects of clinical services, staff, and patient education to promote and deliver quality and accredited medical services.

General Responsibilities will include:

* Provide oversight of the day-to-day general operations of Child and Adolescent services, ensuring the provision of excellent and evidence based care, as demonstrated by quantitative and qualitative measures;

* In conjunction with Woodhull ("Hospital") leadership and the Chief of Mental Health, manage utilization of all Mental Health clinical and support staff, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards;

* Optimize and improve care for all patients for quality assurance and patient satisfaction in the department;

* Lead overall operations of the Outpatient Child and Adolescent services at

Woodhull Medical Center;

* Contribute to strategic planning for the department to meet the needs of the hospital and surrounding community including increased quality and patient access;

* Serve to enhance the leadership and clinical responsibilities within the department including but not limited to managing and evaluating all aspects of clinical services and staff and patient education to promote and deliver quality and accredited medical services;

* Ensure Child and Adolescent service provides the highest quality clinical care to psychiatric patients on the medical and surgical services at Woodhull. Establish and implement the necessary policies, procedures, patient safety and satisfaction goals to maintain regulatory preparedness and adherence to the standards of various certifying agencies to improve program protocols and clinical outcomes;

* Lead the development and refinement of policies and procedures as well as the development and execution of key department Performance

Improvement Initiatives;

* Work collaboratively with other Division Directors of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the provision of academic activities

Qualifications:

Board Certified

NYS License

Minimum 5 years leadership experience
