Description We are seeking a meticulous Medical Data Entry Clerk for our team based in Manhattan, Kansas. This role involves maintaining accurate medical records, entering data efficiently, and working in a fast-paced environment with a large team. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient data entry of medical records into the EHR system

• Perform clerical work including filing and documentation

• Provide support to the team in a fast-paced environment

• Ensure all data is handled in accordance with privacy and security regulations

• Resolve any issues or discrepancies in the data promptly and professionally

• Collaborate with the team to ensure all data entry tasks are completed on time

• Utilize excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks to ensure quality data management

• Adapt to changes in job requirements or work assignments

• Use problem-solving skills to overcome challenges in daily tasks Requirements • Proficiency in using EHR (Electronic Health Records) system

• Proven experience in data entry tasks

• Familiarity with medical documentation and terminologies

• Strong typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

• High attention to detail and ability to spot inaccuracies or inconsistencies in data

• Good understanding of medical coding and billing processes

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
