Job Description

Directs, plans, and organizes the staff and activities of the physician compensation program to include the design and analysis of physician compensation models. Ensures physician compensation models are commercially reasonable, consistent with fair market value and meet federal and state requirements. Develops tools and metrics to monitor the performance of physician compensation models. Coordinates statistical reports.

Job Responsibility

1.Leads the Physician Compensation team by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.

2.Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.

3.Develops, oversees and analyzes physician compensation models.

4.Ensures fair market value profiles based on physician compensation arrangements.

5.Reviews physician compensation models to ensure commercially reasonable and consistent with fair market value, and meet federal and state requirements.

6.Develops tools and metrics to track and monitor the performance of physician compensation models.

7.Responsible for directing staffing appropriately for department(s) and collaborating with HR to fulfill requirements.

8.Works on complex matters where analysis of issues, data, processes and situations require advanced knowledge of functional objectives and industry/technical knowledge which may have long-term impact.

9.Builds and maintains productive intra-departmental work relationships to optimize operations.

10.Exercises a higher degree of independent judgement to make decisions regarding the interpretation and application of small-scale policies and procedures.

11.Prepares budget and recommends for approval.

12.Responsible for day-to-day management of budget for departments.

13.Provides guidance and direction to managers as appropriate.

Job Qualification

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

8-12 years of technical experience. 7+ years of leadership and management experience.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

The salary range for this position is $121,200-$212,100/year
