Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations for assigned patients while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Under the general direction of the Director of Imaging Services and the direct supervision of the MRI Supervisor, the technologist follows established protocols to conduct scans, administer contrast media, and assist radiologists with procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

Experience:

• Two plus years of experience as an Imaging Technologist (Nuclear Medicine, US, CT or DI) and one year of MRI experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• ARRT within MRI preferred. Must renew ARRT registration annually with 24 hours of continuing education bi-annually.

• Currently registered with New Hampshire Board of Medical Technicians
