Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

BAE Systems in Manchester, NH is seeking a Program Engineering Manager II for our Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) division. Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. You will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team charged to deliver and support critical mission capabilities. This role will be responsible for planning, staffing, budget, schedules, scope management, risk and opportunity management, and team coordination. You will coordinate with program managers to ensure all customer needs are met and will manage all aspects of the design, integration, test, and delivery of our EW products.

The position is located in Manchester, NH and may require periodic travel to other BAE Systems facilities and potentially customer sites.

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Active Secret Security clearance and ability to obtain Special Access clearances

  • Bachelor s Degree and 10 years of professional Engineering experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering development of complex electronic systems and the transition to manufacturing

  • Project engineering management or discipline lead experience including organizational design, planning, estimating, design management and product verification

  • Experience introducing automation into development and test to increase quality and lower costs

  • Experience using Design to Cost (DTC) methods; leading to technical solutions that meet affordability and producibility requirements

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 5 years DIRECT experience supporting Electronic Warfare Programs

  • Experience leading $10M EMD and/or Production programs

  • Experience in development and bid and proposal work

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
