BAE Systems F-35 LCPS Program Engineering Manager (ON-SITE) Manchester, New Hampshire

Job Description

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and grow as an engineering leader at BAE Systems. This role will specifically

  • Lead and mentor multi-disciplined engineering teams through one or more phases of the product lifecycle, including proposals, development, design verification, integration, test, transition to production and sustainment.

  • Monitor the Cost/Schedule/Technical performance of all assigned efforts under the product line to maximize and optimize performance.

  • Lead and/or support test and troubleshooting of complex electronic systems, modules, and sub-assemblies, working directly with program engineering and production personnel as required

  • Provide director-level status and communication reports on execution, identification of critical staffing resources and tools which are required to expedite issue resolution and/or mitigate their reoccurrence.

  • Must be Eligible for SAP clearance (program specific)

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Eligible for DOD Security Clearance.

  • Engineering Bachelor s Degree

  • 5 years experience working with complex electrical products in a development, transition to production and/or sustainment role

  • Experience with the design, build, integration, test and/or sustainment of complex electro-mechanical systems, specifically high-speed digital communications, and RF designs.

  • Experience executing programs from a Cost Account Management (CAM) role utilizing the DoD Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED

  • Engineering Master s Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems preferred)

  • 8 years experience working with complex electrical products in a development, transition to production and/or sustainment role

  • 10 years experience leading mid-large highly technical teams on development, transition to production and/or sustainment role

  • Experience developing and executing test architectures and strategies in an highly visible leadership role

  • Proven ability to Lead Projects and teams in an efficient manner meeting schedule milestones and budget in the design and development of automated test systems comprised of software and hardware products to control RF Microwave and Digital test equipment.

  • Experience with Radio Frequencies (RF), high-speed digital, processor and analog designs & development along with an understanding of test methodologies.

  • Understanding of Model Based Engineering concepts and tools (SysML, Cameo Systems Modeler a plus)

  • Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment.

  • Excellent independent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.

  • Demonstrable project leadership on multidiscipline teams and projects

  • Experience presenting technical information to program teams and/or customers.

  • Ability to lead others to closure.

  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
