Eversource Energy Associate Program Analyst, Engineering (Hybrid) in Manchester, New Hampshire

This is a hybrid role.  The first three months arefulltimein the office.

Seeking Associate Analyst with experience in supporting Document Control software (e.g., Adept, Vault, Project Wise, etc.), Engineering CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, P4A, etc.), and with experience in scripting/programming with Autodesk APIs and other business scripting support (i.e., VSTO or VBA). The Associate Analyst is expected to provide analysis and reporting support by use of SQL, Excel, and Power BI. This position will also require training users across all Eversource regions on the use of Document Control software and Engineering workflow processes. Technical Writing experience is preferred as this position will also require support in updating current procedures and processes.

Essential Functions:

  • Experience with VBA to support custom MS Access and Excel macros.
  • Proficiency with SQL to help support embedded queries and custom reports.
  • Understanding of a Document Management Software like Synergis Adept or Autodesk Vault to provide user application support and resolve workflow issues.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio for developing queries, views, functions, and common table expressions.
  • Knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate to help create in house application to support Engineering.
  • Troubleshooting ability for Power BI reporting/support new queries, visuals, and DAX expressions.
  • Experience with Python or R for data visualizations
  • .NET experience (C# or VB.NET) to help migrate older VBA code into a modern language using Visual Studio Tools for Office
  • IT experience with user rights and permissions/Active Directory
  • Interaction with Eversource IT may be required to resolve Internal and External Engineering vendor issues.
  • Provide AutoLISP support for existing AutoCAD routines.
  • Support existing AutoCAD borders, blocks, and attributes.
  • Autodesk API experience needed to update existing AutoLISP tools into a .NET language.
  • 3D CAD (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Inventor, Electrical, SBS P4A, SBS P&C, BIM) experience preferred to support Design Engineering with new initiatives.
  • Experience with MS PowerPoint and Visio to support training presentations and project flowchart updates.
  • API experience with Primavera P6, Power Plan, or eBuilder to help connect existing systems into a new application/database.
  • Application Change Management and AGILE experience for helping increase the group efficiency.
  • Technical writing ability to revise/update Engineering processes and procedures.
  • Comfortability with presenting and training large groups across the Engineering organization.
  • Responsible for supporting internal and external engineering with Eversource Engineering applications (e.g., Adept)
  • Expected to assist with storm duty and any other major system related events.

  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues internal and external to Eversource.
  • Ability to grasp concepts, analyze project information, determine facts, be sensitive to underlying issues, and make well thought out recommendations and decisions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, Access, Word, and Power Point, preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, charts, and building functions required.

Technical Knowledge/Skills:

Education: Requires a BS in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar

Experience:

  • 0-2 years related experience in the engineering industry.
  • Experience in supporting IT related support within Engineering organization and other related key engineering initiatives.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.

Compensation and Benefits :

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program.  Theannualsalary range for this positionis$63,560.00to$70,620.00, plus incentive.  Salary iscommensuratewith your experience.  Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.
