Activities Coordinator - Seniors

  • $18 - $21/Hour
  • Manchester, NH
  • Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri - 8am - 4:30pm
  • Wednesday - 10:30a - 7pm
  • One Saturday a month for 4 hours

Duties:

  • Develop, manage, and oversee the communitys activities program to enhance residents overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with the management team to create a diverse and engaging monthly activities calendar, ensuring a variety of events that cater to residents interests and abilities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead engaging activities that promote physical, mental, and social stimulation.
  • Encourage resident participation by identifying individual interests and fostering a sense of community involvement.
  • Organize and implement special events, themed activities, and group outings to create meaningful experiences.
  • Schedule and coordinate guest speakers, performers, and entertainment to provide enriching experiences for residents.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local organizations in arts, education, health, and wellness to enhance program offerings.
  • Continuously assess and adapt activities to meet the evolving needs and preferences of residents.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in planning and facilitating onsite activities and events.
  • Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage and connect with diverse groups.
  • Previous experience working with older adults is preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and scheduling software.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing needs.
