Lockheed Martin Test Engineer-Early Career in Manassas, Virginia

Description: Responsible for the conduct of Testing for ACB19 and beyond Sonar Systems. Candidate will use Jira, Confluence and Test Rail Software routinely to document and test Domestic and Foreign Military Sales systems. Candidate is responsible for drafting, red-lining, and maintaining Test Procedures as new systems come on line. Responsible as a Team Member and in certain scenarios to act as Test Director to ensure daily testing is completed and documented. Must be able to operate in an Agile, Fast Paced environment, conducting problem solving within complex scenarios to identify software bugs or to validate bug fixes. Critical thinking, verbal and writing skills are a must.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with relative work experience.

• Prefer TI20 ACB19 sonar experience.

• Test automation experience.

• Qualified candidates must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship.

Desired Skills:

• Will have experience with drafting, analyzing and conducting of Test Procedures.

• Shall be comfortable with interaction with senior personnel, to include customers.

• Willing to travel foreign and domestically.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
