Job Description

An aerospace and defense company is looking for a mechanical systems design engineer in helping with integration and routing of fluid transportation systems as well as design on supporting components. The ideal candidate will work well in agile fast paced environments and communicate/interface greatly with other teams. This candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting a program working on hybrid electrified aviation.

Skills and Requirements

15+ years mechanical design work in the aerospace and defense field

Experience designing and analyzing routing and fluid integration transport systems (i.e. bleeding cooling air, anti-icing, fuel oil, fire suppression etc.)

Design and support experience on secondary structure, manifolds etc.

GD&T experience

Expert level CAD design experience (Catia V5) including workbenches such as model based definition tool and drawing tools

Experience doing analysis with hand calculations Composite design experience

Experience with Boeing BDM 1622 standards null
