Product Architect (The Vanguard Group, Inc. / Malvern, PA) -- Utilize understanding of client area business functions and requirements; determine the appropriate technical tool to address client's business needs; collaborate with product owner teams, technology experts, and business stakeholders to provide functional support; assist in defining product roadmaps and architecture, in accordance with business strategies and product standards/processes; design, implement, and deploy cloud platforms to support and meet business needs; identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions; provide technical input into key application architecture decisions; assist in the evaluation of vendors and products and participate in build vs. buy discussions with the product teams; work alongside the product and investment teams to understand what future capabilities the investment and portfolio platforms need to support. Requires Master's in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or closely related field and two years of experience in job offered or in IT position(s) including Software Developer, Applications; or Bachelor's and five years of experience. Background in education, training or experience must include Amazon Web Services (AWS) including AWS EMR, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, AWS Redshift, AWS Cloud Formation, AWS IAM and S3; PySpark, Python, UNIX Shell Scripting, SQL, Hive, Bamboo, and Bitbucket.
