Summary of Role:

Fab 8 is seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and motivated Senior Member of Technical Staff Process Engineering Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for Line Yield control, fab events management, SPS and business process standards within the Operations Excellence domain. The successful candidate is expected to lead and drive best known methods and business processes, KPIs, maintaining and developing new dashboards, defining system requirements, assist in system configuration, act as liaison between developers and end users, and drive projects from start to closure.

The successful candidate will also support the AME Automotive readiness program. Coordinating with other fabs, QA and modules. The candidate will work closely with QA and AME leads and manage the preparation and execution of Operations Quality customer and ISO9001 audits.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Technical lead in the operations excellence department responsible for line yield and fab events management.

  • Drives operations quality KPIs, business process deployment, training and BKM implementation for Fab8.

  • Manage execution, risk for change implementation and upgrades of in-scope systems.

  • Drive operations efficiency projects to reduce cost and waste.

  • Lead module champions and deploy business standards across modules.

  • Align on operations excellence BKMs and shared knowledge with other GF fabs.

  • Coach and train teams on Structured Problem-Solving and Failure Mode & Effect Analytical (FMEA).

  • Manage fab quality events 8D process.

  • Drive customers and ISO9001 audits on topics related to line yield and operations quality.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering physical science discipline is required

  • Minimum of 8 years of Semiconductor process engineering experience in related processes preferably in 300mm wafer Fab.

  • Previous experience with customer and ISO9001 audits.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics or other relevant engineering physical science discipline.

  • Experience in advanced technology (45nm or below)

  • Experience with Line Yield management, Change control implementation and Quality systems such as PCRB, MRB and iCAR.

  • Experience with customer management, yield, Cp/CpK improvement and non-conformance events.

  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, independent and a self-starter

  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a global matrixed team or environment.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong organizational skills: demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.

  • Individuals will be and must be able to understand complex automated systems and human interactions -

  • Individuals must be well versed in all Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc) - Experience with data query and data analysis.

Expected Salary Range

$104,000.00 - $198,000.00
