Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries is seeking a professional to support its leading-edge, advanced process control and run-to-run applications in its state of the art, flagship Fab 8 in Malta, NY. The successful candidate will help to architect complex control algorithms, leveraging machine learning and advanced analytics, in a highly motivated Process and Equipment Controls team tasked with driving improved process capability, efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
Essential Responsibilities:

Provide technical engineering expertise for the following, primary Process and Equipment Controls solutions:
Run-to-Run Control
Statistical Process Control / Sampling
Fault Detection / Data Collection
Test Wafer Route Management
Recipe Management
Equipment Management
Drive factory controls system implementation projects critical to business needs
Internal customer prioritization coordination and expectation management
Drive activities both within and across multiple departments to accomplish tasks required by the technical domain leads
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Education – Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience – Internship within the semiconductor industry.
Skills - Fluency in object-oriented programming languages such as JAVA, C# or other
Experience with scripting languages such as python, R, or TCL
Highly recommended to have SQL knowledge to query relational databases
Understanding of time series analysis
Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
Skills - Experience with Tool Command Language (TCL)
Knowledge of Docker, Bitbucket, Github
Front end web design experience (e.g. HTML, Node JS)
Experience with ML services in AWS ecosystem
Understanding of advanced data analytics and machine learning
Previous project management experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong planning & organizational skills.

Expected Salary Range
$52,500.00 - $107,000.00
The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
