Materials Manager (f/m/x)

Description

• Manage and take responsibility for plant issues with respect to customer delivery /supplier delivery / forwarder management / scheduling / materials management

• Develop packaging opportunities that fit with plant requirements and regional strategy

• Seize warehousing improvement opportunities / optimization and activities that are in alignment with plant and regional strategy

• Lead internal team meeting within the department on daily basis to evaluate plan vs execution, root causes for deviations, look for possible countermeasures.

• Exchange with other departments on daily basis outcome of internal meeting, highlight issues, define countermeasures.

• Implement EHS standards and guideline

• Ensure all GSC Standard Processes are being followed

• Be C&FT Compliance owner for the plant

• Maintain ISO Management System (14001,45001)

• Identify and evaluate improvement opportunities in the plant with respect to: scheduling / information and material flow / materials movement to POU / sequencing / mode of transport / logistics network and frequency / warehousing / purchasing / etc.

• Train and coach employees

• Set SMART and achievable PMP targets

• Develop teams, identify weaknesses and set a plan to strengthen the team

• Support and align with other departments, other plants, regions globally

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in Logistics or comparable education

• Professional training in Logistics and Scheduling is necessary

• Professional advanced training in C&FT is preferable

• Working experience in the area of Integrated Supply Chain and Scheduling is important

• Experience in managing people is necessary

• Very good knowledge of SAP, Warehousing and Logistics

• Very good command of English language is mandatory

• Good German language skills are necessary (Min B2)
