Positions in this function are primarily self-driven. Analysts are responsible for the management and evaluation of data while aiding refinement of business intelligence tools, conducting analysis to distinguish patterns and recognize trends, performing normalization operations, and assuring data quality. Additionally, a person in this role will partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop tools and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids and business case analysis to support the organization.

Our team’s overall goal is to improve initial quality on the USP platform and reduce the time to respond to escalated issues. We remediate identified production issues through triaging of inbound error queues while collaborating with stakeholders to identify process and automation improvements, and thereby ultimately fixing the errors in several USP systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define business rules and identify processes which are repeatable to participate in primary discussions for the development of automated remediation strategies

  • Drive results through partnering within their own and across external teams

  • Independently create and adhere to short-term project plans to deliver tasks on time and efficiently provide status

  • Independently communicate, monitor, and attempt to resolve any issues impacting daily productivity including system outages, program downtime, secure access requests, etc., without prompting

  • Follow established processes without supervision

  • Must provide status and respond to Janet Brewer, E2E Testing Lead, and other key business partners with proper urgency and accountability

  • Participate in daily standup calls as directed by team leadership

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with individuals across a variety of functional areas

  • Work with Cirrus proprietary software architecture to evaluate and support both upstream and downstream applications with tie-ins to the fulfillment delivery process

  • Perform end-to-end draft validation as directed by process owners and Subject Matter Experts

  • Participate and contribute to workflow modelling sessions to ensure business partners are engaged appropriately

  • Create specific Workflows with the Subject Matter Experts from various domains (Fulfillment, Member, Member/Group, Provider, Claims, Configuration, etc.) to create the As-Is and Future state processes

  • Acquire and maintain working knowledge of integrated systems that support the fulfillment error queue and surrounding systems

  • Support leadership in conversations with business stakeholders to support the migration of legacy systems through the identification of potential impacts to fulfillment error queues

  • Prepare and execute test scenarios for initiative(s) crossing multiple applications

  • Responsible for gaining proficiency in new applications as needed

  • Assess data sources for accuracy, potential new requirements for tagging/analytics/platform specificity

  • Hand-off data that requires research to the appropriate partner/s with enough detail to help the partner/s research

  • Close the loop on outstanding issues and hand-offs

  • Work with data sources and production issue resolution teams to resolve data and functionality errors

  • Participate in User Story discussions from grooming through demo and acceptance to confirm that all process related logics are covered and adhered to

  • Work with value stream owners and subject matter experts to monitor quality assurance and mitigate long-term risk to fulfillment operations

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2nd year college undergraduate

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, analytics, or testing

  • Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and providing an evaluation and process improvement recommendations

  • Experience creating business cases and requirements for operational improvements, testing and/or automation of quality initiatives

  • Experience creating fact-based recommendations, using Microsoft suite applications and features such as PowerPoint and Excel graphs

  • Experience with PC-based software programs and automated database management systems (Microsoft Office Suite)Experience presenting their findings via facts and compelling visuals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 years of business requirement experience

  • 1 - 3 years Data Research experience

  • Cirrus experience

  • Agile Knowledge

  • Proven track record of process improvement
