The Role
As our DevOps system automation engineer you will be helping us build functional automation and support systems that improve our customer experience.In this position you will be responsible for designing and deploying system updates, identifying issues, and implementing integrations that meet our needs. In your role you will closely work with our system support team, the support engineering team and our IT leadership.You hold operational responsibilities including interacting with our customers as well as with vendors and suppliers and will also work closely with key business partners to implement changes to both support functionality and business processes.
Your responsibilities:
System and infrastructure design, standardization, monitoring and enhancement
Automation of system deployments, processes and tasks
Develop, maintain, document, and test new or existing applications
Troubleshoot, resolve and provide root cause analysis for production system issues
Provide 3rd level support to your colleagues, for customers and business partners
Required Skills
Ideally, you have a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology systems or equivalent
You have at least three years of experience in a support technician work and
at least one year experience in system and deployment automation.
Good operational understanding of hospitality business a plus.
You have very good knowledge in automation tools for system and application deployment
strong knowledge and experience in writing Phyton and PowerShell scripts.
Good knowledge and experience in at least two of the following:
Virtualization technologies, preferred VMWare
Service Now optimization and development
System monitoring solutions preferred Nagios
Actual Microsoft products
Knowledge in DevOps toolsets like Ansible or Jenkins will be a plus
You have the ability to perform analysis, learning and excellent troubleshooting skills.
You speak fluent English, and have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
