System One is seeking a Plant Engineer for an industry-leading client in Maidsville, WV.

Responsibilities:

• Rotate through operations, maintenance, and material handling to learn plant equipment and processes.

• Identify and resolve abnormal equipment conditions.

• Provide technical guidance on processes, procedures, repairs, and projects.

• Assist in project development and proposal evaluations.

• Lead and assist in project execution to maintain budget and schedule.

• Coordinate contractors for testing and maintenance.

• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions.

• Monitor and resolve reliability and performance issues.

• Support planning and execution of outages.

• Implement PDM technologies to detect equipment issues.

• Maintain backlog of assigned Work Orders.

• Collaborate with plant departments for process improvement.

• Participate in Management of Change initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations.

• Research and develop alternative monitoring and maintenance methods.

• Create Work Orders and Purchase Requisitions.

  Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

• 2+ years of Plant Engineering experience.

• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documents.

• Understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems.

  Desired Software/Systems Experience:

• Industrial Data Management software

• AutoCAD

• APM Software (Asset Performance Manager)

• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

• Distributed Control System (DCS)

• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
