Robert Half Sales & Customer Care Consultant in Mahwah, New Jersey

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sales & Customer Care Consultant in the retail industry. This role is based in Mahwah, New Jersey, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service across multiple channels and assisting customers with a variety of inquiries. This is a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer issues and complaints, ensuring an excellent customer experience at all times.

• Handle customer inquiries across multiple channels including email, phone, live chat, and social media.

• Proactively anticipate and prevent any obstacles to a seamless customer experience.

• Assist customers with diverse lines of inquiry, including product queries, returns, delivery, registration, and payments.

• Strive to meet sales, quality, and productivity targets, contributing to the overall goals of the department.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Customer Care department and other internal departments to continuously improve service and knowledge.

• Manage customer credit applications and order entries accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain precise customer credit records and monitor customer accounts for necessary action.

• Correspond with customers via email and answer inbound calls as needed.

• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data entry and to schedule appointments. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Experience in data entry and order entry

• Strong customer service skills, including experience in a call center environment

• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls

• Experience in answering inbound calls promptly and professionally

• Excellent written communication skills, including email correspondence

• Ability to schedule appointments effectively

• Retail industry experience is preferred

• Dedication to providing excellent customer service at all times

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations

• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Professional and courteous demeanor at all times

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
