Envista Holdings Corporation Purchasing/Materials Planner in Mahwah, New Jersey

Job Description:

Purpose:

The Purchasing/Material Planner is responsible for assisting in the management of Nobel Procera vendor relationships and various procurement processes for the purchase of goods, materials, tools and/or services for manufacturing purposes.

Accountabilities:

• Serve as primary contact with our vendors to build mutually beneficial partnerships with our suppliers, ensuring quality, delivery, cost problem-solving; serve as primary contact in other materials planning related projects as necessary

• Evaluate vendor reliability and recommend changes as required

• Exercise good working knowledge of materials and sources of supply to make purchases at prices consistent with quality and quantity requirements

• Check backlog report, requisitions; contact vendors as appropriate

• Establish and maintain communication with internal department, management, and the vendor community

• Closely monitor transportation of ordered materials, communicating with our carriers about incoming and outgoing materials related to purchase orders; track shipments to ensure on-time delivery

• Serve as main contact for creating International and Domestic commercial invoices

• Other duties including processing receipts of goods SAP, reviewing and reconciling invoices with discrepancies; other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• High School Diploma with approximately 5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain,

Purchasing or Planning; or an Associate’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing or Planning required

• Intermediate to Advanced computer skills and basic accounting skills required

• Working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Confidential and proprietary.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
