Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Food and Beverage to oversee all culinary and beverage operations on our stunning island resort. This is a leadership role that demands a strategic thinker who is passionate about delivering world-class dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury hospitality, with the ability to innovate while maintaining the highest standards of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Lead the Food and Beverage department, setting strategic goals, and ensuring that all outlets operate efficiently and profitably.
• Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service and quality.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop a diverse team of culinary and service professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Guest Experience: Ensure that all guest interactions are personalized and exceed expectations, contributing to the overall luxury experience.
• Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and drive revenue growth while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Innovation & Creativity: Continuously enhance the dining offerings by incorporating local ingredients and trends, while upholding the Waldorf Astoria brand standards.
• Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Director of Food and Beverage or similar leadership role in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and control costs.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of culinary trends, wine, and beverage services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a remote, island environment and adapt to the unique challenges it presents.
