Amazon FinOps Specialist, US Payroll, CX (L4), US-Payroll CX in Maharashtra, India

As the company continues to scale, we are seeking FinOps Specialist to develop the Payroll Financial Operations; within our rapidly growing Finance organization. This position will champion the innovation needed to pay our employees accurately and on Time, with the highest customer obsession and controllership, at the lowest cost to Amazon. This position will be responsible for all aspects of US Payroll Operations including: hiring, training; Managing group workload and establishing priorities; ensuring existing policies and procedures are followed; creating and monitoring appropriate performance metrics. This position will also act as an escalation point in resolving outstanding issues with internal and external business partners.

Key job responsibilities

• Analyze payroll-related metrics, such as employee satisfaction, payroll processing time, and error rates, to identify opportunities for optimization.

• Identify training needs and provide training to improve the quality of the U.S. Payroll ticketing teams.

• Responsible for performing Dive-Deep analysis, work with stakeholder teams and Tech teams to implement Corrective/Preventive actions.

• Implement continuous improvement processes to refine payroll practices and address evolving employee needs.

• Bring up-to-date resources, such as FAQs, guides, or tutorials, to help employees stay informed about payroll-related topics.

• Provide clear and accessible information about payroll policies, schedules, and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of finance experience

  • Knowledge of financial controls and procedures

  • • Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details.

  • • Advanced MS Excel knowledge (pivot tables, vlookup and other formulas).

  • • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • • Flexible to work in rotational shifts including US time zone.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FPC certified

  • Six Sigma certified
