The Design and Application Engineer will be an integral part of the Filter Housings Team within the Pall Microelectronics Business Unit.

The Design and Application Engineer will lead the technical aspects of Filter Housings and help win/sustain business across MicroE portfolio.

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Pre-bid support

• Provides technical guidance and assistance including providing technical proposals and specifications review for MicroE Filter Housings

• Focal point for technical discussion with customers, vendors, and Pall stakeholders

• Prepares technical documents and participates in client & internal meetings.

• Responsible for filter housing design calculation and sizing ( in conjunction with product managers)

• Suggest improvements to current design/features to optimize performance and cost.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of work experience

• Relevant experience especially in high purity industries like chemicals, semiconductors, biotech etc. will be advantageous.

• Should be conversant with fabrication design codes ( PED, CE, ASME.. etc.)

• Bachelor’s/ master’s in mechanical or chemical engineering

• Should have effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills

• Able to travel at a short notice and visit clients as required
