Seasonal/Temporary work from 4/7/25 - 5/9/25.

Drip Irrigation duties may include the following: move and lay irrigation equipment in fields; maintain and repair irrigation system; flush irrigation lines; place/remove plastic mulch and drip tape; place/remove trunk and header lines; observe revolving sprinklers and adjust to ensure proper operation and uniform distribution of water; remove irrigation equipment and layflat from fields prior to harvest; disassemble, service and store irrigation equipment after irrigation season; containerized nursery; tree grafting; workers possessing the proper licensure may be asked to transport other farm workers.

Duties related to harvesting, packing, and storing crops may include the following: prepare/assemble/label/organize boxes/bins/containers/clamshells for packing products; stand on the ground, ladders, or elevated platforms, stoop over plants, or crawl along rows to reach product when harvesting; spread liners in bins and rolling bins into blocks by hand; shake tree/vine/plant to separate product from plant; pick/cut/gather crop by hand or machine; ride mechanical harvester; alert equipment operator of equipment clogging/malfunctions and aid in correct machine performance; tie vegetables into specified size bunches using wires or rubber bands; cut top foliage from root vegetables; stoop, bend and kneel to pick up sweet potatoes using hands and fingers to dig out unexposed potatoes; snip stems; measure product using gages; weigh/wash/clean product; repeatedly catch/throw/lift crops; hand crop off to, or receive from, another worker for placement into containers or onto trailers/wagons/trucks/conveyors; sort good product from contaminated or rotting product or debris in the field, storage facility, or cold storage location; discard diseased/rotting/inferior product and foreign matter; haul crops to cooler; work in cooler and/or on packing line; sort product; place product on designated conveyors; place product into containers such as bags, buckets, lugs, bins, clamshells, or other packaging; place product onto trailers for shipping or hauling to processing area; rake nuts away from trees toward center of the rows for harvest; pickup, transport, crack, shell, clean, and package pecans; prepare crops for shipment; load/unload product/containers/pallets onto or off of trucks/wagons/trailers/field conveyors by hand or forklift; place crop in designated areas to sell; dispose of unmarketable product as instructed; prepare crops/plants/vines/trees to fill orders; remove ladders, debris, boxes, and discarded product from fields and orchards; clean fields after harvest.
