The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing front line support to sales representatives for all lines of legacy Entrust business. This includes generating quotations (60%), data entry in Saleforce.com (20%), help maintaining accurate territory assignments, assisting with data reconciliation between systems (20%), and taking part in day to day Sales administration to ensure our customer (Sales) has all that tools required to be effective.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quotations for the Software Sales team using Oracle, including discounts where applicable, based on the approval authority matrix.

  • Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal teams to support needs of the sales team and their customers

  • Populate a large number of future renewal opportunities in Salesforce.com, input tasks in Salesforce.com for account transfers based on sales policies, etc.

  • Conduct spot-checks in Salesforce, using exception reports, to identify data inconsistency on Opportunities and Accounts in SFDC.

  • Provide pricing assistance and assist with pricing inquiries, as needed, to sales representatives

  • Work closely with the Pricing Master to ensure missing part codes and prices can been communicated so resolutions can be made.

  • Work closely with Product Management to understand products and solutions, and ensure pricing requests from Sales are inclusive of all required infrastructure and licenses, effectively being a SME on product prices

  • Partner with the Order Management team to ensure smooth transition from quoting through to ordering, ensure all details are accurate and account history is communicated as needed

  • Help with Sales Territory Assignment, ensuring accuracy

  • Work with other departments as needed on CMS account extensions and closures

  • Reconcile data from other internal sales databases

  • Provide other administrative support for sales team

  • Assists in special projects

  • Other related duties assigned as needed

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

  • High School Diploma/GED, Assoc. Degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education

  • Able to work effectively in a fast paced, high pressure, time sensitive environment

  • Experience with MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Familiarity with Oracle, specifically for quoting and Salesforce

  • Must be a team player and able to build strong working relationships with outside sales team, internal stakeholders and customer base.

  • Good analytical (mathematical) skills and excellent prioritization skills.

  • Self-starter who can successfully complete repetitive tasks, and is a proactive worker

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; communication, organization and computer skills.

  • Detail oriented, can follow processes and enforce data integrity in databases

  • Fluency in other language(s)
