DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our team specializing in Sales for our Projects department in San Fernando de Henares, Spain.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Leveraging Engineering Expertise: Utilize your engineering background to bring technical insights and solutions to project planning and execution, ensuring that projects are feasible and align with engineering principles.

  • Effective Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with various stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations to develop comprehensive project plans that address all key aspects and drive successful outcomes.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Use your fluency in English to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, stakeholders, and sponsors, facilitating smooth information flow and minimizing misunderstandings.

  • Comprehensive Project Management: Lead multiple projects from start to finish, employing strong organizational skills to handle varying complexity and size, ensuring that all projects meet their objectives within set timelines.

  • Proactive Issue Resolution: Identify, track, and resolve project issues promptly, working collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to find effective solutions and maintain project momentum.

  • Budget and Timeline Management: Plan and monitor project budgets and timelines meticulously, conducting thorough research and analysis to provide accurate inputs for project plans and ensure resources are used efficiently.

  • Risk Management and Quality Assurance: Apply quality tools to identify and manage project risks, collaborating with the team to develop alternative strategies or solutions that safeguard project goals.

  • Knowledge Sharing and Team Development: Document and share learnings from each project with other teams, and guide team members through different project stages, providing feedback and coaching to foster professional growth and enhance team performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Financial Acumen: Develop a strong understanding of financial indicators to make informed decisions that optimize project budgets and drive successful outcomes. Use this knowledge to balance costs, resources, and financial constraints effectively.

  • Effective Communication: Master the art of clear and targeted communication by adapting your messages to various audiences, ensuring that stakeholders, team members, and customers understand project goals, updates, and requirements.

  • Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering solutions that meet their needs. Incorporate customer feedback into project planning and execution to ensure the final deliverables align with their expectations.

  • Complexity Management: Develop skills to analyze and navigate complex information, resolving issues by synthesizing diverse data points and conflicting inputs to make well-informed decisions and streamline project processes.

  • Project Management and Resource Allocation: Excel in managing project scope, schedule, and resources. Use project management tools to effectively plan, execute, and adjust project tasks, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with organizational goals and delivered on time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business administration, or a related field.

  • Advanced degrees or certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.

  • Additional training or certification in financial management or risk management is beneficial.

  • Compliance with licensing requirements for export controls or sanctions regulations may be necessary.

Experience

  • Intermediate experience in managing and leading projects, including developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, facilitating collaboration, and guiding team members to achieve project goals.

  • Hands-on experience in identifying, tracking, and resolving project issues and risks.

  • Proven ability to work with stakeholders to align project objectives and ensure successful outcomes.
