Mondelēz World Travel Retail (WTR) is the dynamic global business unit responsible for driving sales in the specialist travel retail channel. Operating in premium retail environments, Mondelēz WTR takes an innovative approach to brands such as Toblerone, Milka, Cadbury and Oreo for best representation in airports, border stores, ferries and in-flight.
The Perfect Store and Field manager, is a new position in the Travel Retail business unit, that will be integrated in the Customer Marketing team. This position will lead the field team at the airports (+130 Brand Ambassadors across more than 50 locations around the globe) with the support of 2 ti 4 direct reports (Area managers) and will also lead the Perfect Store execution at the POS.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible of defining golden standards and be the expert on what drives success in sore.
Lead and manage the Field team to achieve execution targets at the POS
In charge of the recruitment, training, and development of Brand Ambassadors.
Build capabilities of our Brand Ambassadors (knowledge of the brands and products, selling capabilities, 5S methodology, and executional excellence)
Manage the assigned budget, ensuring effective allocation and spend tracking optimizing ROI
In charge of communication with Brand Ambassadors, setting clear targets, priorities and performance expectations.
Set incentives and performance kpis for Brand Ambassadors and evaluate.
Coordinate POS reporting, managing agencies to gather data on share of space, visibility, competition, execution, planogram compliance, MSL, etc.
Identify kpis to track, periodicity and coverage. Collect input, consolidate , evaluate and present to the wider organization for actionable decisions.
Visits to the market (20%-30% of travelling)
Work very close with Customer Marketing Managers to align on priorities, kpis and execution depending on the targets and needs for the specific region
Required :
University degree, marketing/business training courses or diploma
Min. 6 years’ experience in the FMCG market preferred
Experience in a cross-cultural multinational environment and remote environment
Experience in working with field force in different areas like Field management, sales excellence, category planning, Trade Marketing, or Perfect store
Shopper and store knowledge
Business and financial Acumen
Drive for Results and able to perform with autonomy
Priority setting and process management
High Communication and presentation skills, motivating and inspiring
English written and spoken is mandatory. Additional languages are a plus
