Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Security Consultant has advanced expertise in their area of specialization and is responsible for translating clients’ cybersecurity requirements and customizing and implementing security solutions into specific systems, applications and product designs.

This role identifies and develops the security solutions for clients using company products, outsourced technology solutions and technical tools, as well as consults with clients regarding secure product configuration, deployment, and security patches to minimize security vulnerabilities.

In addition, this role provides comprehensive scanning, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, monitoring services and source code analysis and delivers detailed results to clients. This role guides and supports clients in the development and implementation of product security controls.

What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Bring subject matter expertise related to cybersecurity design best practice with focus on OT Security, Multicloud Security and Zero Trust Adoption Strategies.

  • Capability to develop pa demo environment on the above main practices.

  • Work in partnership with internal stakeholders on the development of the architectural approach for one or more layer of a solution.

  • Participate in consulting engagements, billable or non-billable, to support the roadmap, business case development and adoption of technologies in security (Secure Cloud, Zero Trust and OT/IOT).

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on the development of new services to take to market, information on relevant vertical markets and keep up to date on developments in cybersecurity.

  • Drive relationship with key partners in your domain of expertise.

  • Participate in the pre-sales process. Collaborate with sales on selling solutions and services.

  • Proactively engage with clients.

  • Participate in the delivery of business development processes including opportunity identification, presales, scoping, deal closing and driving delivery.

  • Participate in the Business Development and Marketing activities.

  • Present clients with solutions and convince and persuade internal and external stakeholders of the right course of action.

  • Use client engagement skills to identify the most important client IT security challenges and optimize their mitigation.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to focus on detail with an understanding of how it impacts the business strategically.

  • Excellent client engagement skills.

  • Understand and successfully applied Consulting methodology.

  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations.

  • Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business (Business acumen).

  • Ability to learn quickly and continuously.

  • Strategic thinking and Leadership ability.

  • Language: English mandatory, French is an asset.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Degree in relevant field.

  • Technical certification in security products (Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto Network, Proofpoint, Crowdstrike, F5, Zscaler, …).

  • Certifications in security industry standards such as ISO 27000, PCI:DSS, NIST, HIPAA, CISSP or others is an asset.

Required Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Consulting or Pre-sales position in Cybersecurity.

  • Seasoned understanding and high skilled Consulting Capabilities on Cloud Security, Zero Trust Adoption Strategies and Secure OT/IOT enviorments.

  • Seasoned demonstrable experience in a similar role within a large scale (preferably multi- national) technology services environment.

  • Seasoned demonstrable level of expertise coupled with consulting and client engagement experience, demonstrating good experience in client needs assessment and change management.

  • Track record in Cybersecurity.

  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor.
