JOB REQUIREMENTS: Trauma Program Coordinator - 32602 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: 100% FTE, Monday - Friday. This is a hybrid position. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Trauma Program Coordinator to: * Develop, implement, and evaluate the East Madison Hospital Trauma Program. * Evaluate and provide feedback to professional level employees who participate in the operations of the trauma program and work closely with others to promote education and research. * Collaborate with University Hospital and American Family Children\'s Hospital leaders to ensure consistent and high level care is delivered to each patient. Four (4) years of relevant trauma program nursing and/or leadership experience in addition to the required work experience below may be considered in lieu of degree. Preferred - Completion of the Trauma Outcomes and Performance Improvement Course (\"TOPIC course\") within one year of hire * Completion of the Optimal Trauma Center Organization and Management Course (\"Optimal course\") within one year of hire. Work Experience : Minimum - Three years clinical experience in trauma and/or emergency care. Certifications : Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact.
