14143BRDepartment Name:HSP Child & Adol Psychiatry OP Location:Child/Adolescent Psych Hospital Job Description:The Patient Services Representative/Community Specialist facilitates the functioning of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit program in a variety of supportive functions to include, but not be limited to, the following:
Child and Adolescent facility front entrance reception desk reception
Support for the Child/Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Services (IOS) program.
Facilitates outpatient registration and supports authorization processes.
Provides professional staff clerical assistance and support in conjunction with the department Administrative Assistant.
Secretarial support as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in a customer service or administrative support role in a healthcare setting.
CPR
Knowledge of general MS office systems including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Proficiency with keyboarding.
Customer service experience
Effective verbal and written communication skills
CPI Training within 90 days of hire.
Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Once or more years of experience in a Mental Health setting.
Knowledge of registration processes, Epic Cadence program.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
