JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: As the Organizational Development Specialist with the WCWPDS, you will be joining a group of dedicated professionals who work together to advance high-quality, innovative learning for public child welfare professionals and caregivers across Wisconsin. The Organizational Development Specialist will serve as a leader in quality improvement and organizational development throughout Wisconsin\'s Child Welfare Professional Development training system. This person will be responsible for working with organizational leaders, staff, and administrative units throughout the state to help them address complex organizational challenges. The Organizational Development Specialist will work independently and as part of a team in applying approaches, methods, and strategies that lead organizations through a change process. As a member of a work team, the Organizational Development Specialist must be able to work both independently and collaboratively. This position will report to the Associate Director of the Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System Responsibilities: Organizes the development and delivery of outreach programs, including the responsibility for staffing. Assists with policy development and organizes resources to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences. 75% Directs the implementation of program policies and procedures 15% Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships to promote the outreach program 5% Schedules and secures logistics and resources in support of an outreach program 5% Identifies opportunities for program improvement or new outreach program development Institutional Statement on Diversity: Diversity is a source of strength, creativity, and innovation for UW-Madison.
